The B&DFF Club meetings are held at the Brennan Park Pool on the last
Thursday of the month, starting at 7:30pm.
Guest speakers in the past have included; Peter Hayes, Mick Hall, Phil Weigall, Neil Grose,
Muzz Wilson and David Dodds. Books, Videos and DVDs are available from the Club Library for members.
New members welcomed and assigned a mentor.
The B&DFF is affiliated with the Midlands and North Central Angling Association and the Council of
Victorian Fly Fishing Clubs. the Club also participates in various fly fishing competitions and was
the Victorian Club Champions in 2005.
Fly Fishing Tuition
Create your own flies and learn from experienced fly tyers. The exhilaration of catching fish using flies
tied by yourself, is one of the great experiences in fly fishing and one that should not be missed by any
fly fisher.
Club Trips
The Club participates in a number of trips throughout the year. Locations include Khancoban, Snowy Mountains and the
Goulburn River, as well as members organising private trips to locations, such as Tasmania and New Zealand.
Casting Tuition
Learn the finer details of casting. Being able to cast quickly and accurately is a basic skill that will
increase your catch rate. World renowned casting instructor Peter Hayes has been at clinics in the past.
